He definitely could do it as a Knick they just had Melo aka the most selfish player probably in nba history… him and rose never wanted to share the spotlight in their primes and wouldn’t recruit stars… not saying they should’ve jumped ship (they did anyway) but definitely should’ve put their pride aside and recruited… Shump and j.r left and and immediately got rings 😅
