I like your spirit. There were only 2 full NBA seasons. (1 1/2 with Lockout) where Tim Duncan was in the league and not already an NBA champion.
It would just sound ridiculous if you said that aloud until Jokic joins that class.

Your opinion does hold true, though. Nikola is an average and sometimes above average defender, but not as elite as Tim Duncan was. That said, I do believe Nikola can and will continue to get better in that regard

Jokic, other European players, Tim Duncan, Ginobili, etc. Their self-esteem and security about their selves are so high….they don’t need to hear every second, every minute, every hour, every day ….how great they are.
