No other 7 footer in the league can position their body perfectly to get a shot off anytime like kd, wembayama said it in his recent interview that’s why he studies Durant.

Recency bias is the problem and wembanyama is a 19yo that hasn’t even played one game and you quoting him like he was kobe or sum.. Dirk had a midrange game, even embiid can do it. “Position their body perfectly” is just nonsense for a 7 footer hitting a fadeaway.

Booker launching that down to KD is reminding me of Murray chucking it down to Dhop in the final moments of the Cardinals Bills game

Durant is such a loser with all this team hopping i don’t even understand how this guy can even face people at this point.

Imma say this I’ve never seen KD talk about a teammate with more genuine respect and pride like he does Book it’s like he’s a proud big bro and at first I was kinda confused by it but I think KD really is in a place where he feels like he just wants his boy Book ascend and become that superstar he knows he can be and it’s dope to see.

Cause it’s the first time he was in a team where he isn’t number 1

He’s loved Book and his game for years and they were the 2 best players on team USA for this last Olympics where they win gold and I’m sure that only made KD respect for him grow, there is a reason KD wanted to come here and it’s to play with Book. Now that they’re in the same team doing amazing things I’m sure each of their levels of respect have grown even more for each other even tho they both clearly already respected the fuck outta each other. KD said he’s been following Book since Book was in highschool and obviously Book was a big KD fan and now they dominating together, probably feels like a big brother little brother relationship where they both have immense love and respect for each other. Lastly they’re both just straight hoopers who just want to ball, that’s probably one of the main reasons for all the respect, these guys were cut from the same cloth as competitors.

@Josel yeah,in gsw he was definitely the best player, but not the greatest

Hes also genuinely happy to play for the Suns. Hes been wanting to play for the Suns for years now. People think he just recently wanted to play for them but no. Now was just the right time for him to make it happen

I can easily see this duo win championship this year , the way both are playing , barring any injuries, I don’t see any team stopping them in west or east.

      May 8, 2023 at 3:19 am

Who knows anything’s possible they’re both insane and easily the best duo in the playoffs. That being said I think their best chance will actually be next season, they will have a lot more time to build chemistry, they’ve only played 17 games together total which is wild to think about because they’re both crushin it, also there will likely be a more well rounded team around them, the support staff currently is unreliable and the team is crazy top heavy

This Phoenix team, starting to come alive now starting to play as a team. I like Chris Paul, but boy have they been playing better with him not in the rotation

    • Puppetmaster 85

      May 8, 2023 at 3:21 am

It’s because Payne pushes the pass and Book also plays a ton of PG and he is pushing it like crazy and destroying them in transition and putting a shit ton of pressure on them. For this series at least the faster pace is better for us against them and cp3 has always been a slow methodical calculated player but it just wasn’t working great the first 2 games.

    • King Diamond 51fifty

      May 8, 2023 at 3:31 am

@Puppetmaster 85 it was the same when he was out with the bucks in the finals. When he was out with Covid, we jumped to a 2-0 start. But after what you explained, I understand.

    • Tashie D

      May 8, 2023 at 11:24 pm

CP3 may not be a good fit for this series, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be needed throughout the playoffs. Hes still a closer, so there will always been a place for him in the 4th quarter

I could replay that throw and catch over and over. It was beautiful.

My heart is torn as to who I want to see win this series. I’m from an hour away from Denver, so I really want to see the Nuggets GET TO & WIN their first championship. At the same time, though, I’ve loved watching KD play since his days at Texas (what happened to Abrams?), as well as lived down the street from Phoenix (Fort Huachuca, Army) years ago, back when Steve Nash (another of my favorite players, all time) was their star.
