This is like a snake eating its own tail. The media reporting on how the media covers KAT. The sad thing is that instead of just calling a spade a spade, they try to tell us it is our “perception” that is changing. No, it is how you guys cover him – that is what is changin. Mainstream sports journalism is a dumpster fire. Literally.

Its been one game. Tonight is definitely a must win for San Antonio. They need to do whatever it takes to avoid going to NY down 2. I still have San Antonio taking the series. They need to get ahead and stay ahead tonight. Keep wemby in the game, and pretty much play all 4 quarters of game 2 like they played the first half of game 1. Spurs in 6.

i dont understand why they always try to host the show outside with fans. thats awful for television. the sounds, the embarassing shouting of the fans believing it would change something if the yell: lets go…..😂
embarassing fan culture in america. and then only show up if the team is relevant and dont care about them in bad times

Rumor was that if the Knicks lost to the Hawks KAT would be swapped out for Giannis. Can Shump speak on that? Second, Peacock NBC air a game. Vince Carter and TMAC confronted KAT either at halftime or before the game. Oh how I wanted to know what they asked him and what he told them because the rumor was going around that him and Mike Brown weren’t seeing eye to eye. That’s when the rumors started about him or the Knicks not making it through the first round he would be gone.

The defense KAT played in Game 1 and staying with Wemby when Wemby kept trying to get passed him and drive into the paint, KAT isnt as athletic as Wemby or agile, but he made sure he stayed with him enough and didnt let Wemby completely blow past him and KAT used his frame and size really well on Wemby and made it hard for him and Josh Hart did a amazing job always being the help defender, and picking his moments and going for it and forcing turnovers when they put the ball on the court and Hart attacked and forced a few key turnovers attacking the dribble and the ball coming from help side defense where they didn’t see him coming. The Knicks played Great defense, i would have Anunoby play Wemby more on the perimeter and keep KAT in the paint or around the paint and be able to step up and put his size and body on Wemby when he wants to try and get to the rim, i would like to see the Knicks play a little more zone early in the game, and be able to cover the entire space better and be able to hold their zones and be there when they try to force the ball around and find a open shooter. And they have to be more careful playing the double team when Wemby attacks with the ball around the perimeter and put the ball on the court and tries to dribble and use his length to get into the paint, its smart for Hart to be a helpside defender and force turnovers, but he has to be careful not to leave a open shooter for the kick out. If the Knicks just help each other out and switch defensively quick enough and always contest the Spurs shots and make them earn it, tht is how to frustrate them, because they dont have GREAT shooters, they have guys that can shoot and knock down shots, but they don’t have a pure shooter, Champagnie is their best 3 pt shooter, they have guys tht can get hot, but they dont have pure catch and shoot players, and when the Knicks are constantly forcing them to play great defense and force the Spurs to use alot of energy on defense, its only gna help them on the other end in the 4th quarter when the Spurs guys are a little tired and dont have the legs they did early, and tht will help the Knicks defense as well. Brunson has to make whoever is guarding him use alot of energy, and if i was the Spurs i wouldnt have 1 person guard Brunson too much more then the best guy, cuz he will tire u out, and itll help them as well because Brunson cnt get used to a certain defender and have multiple defenders with different abilities and attributes, they have to constantly switch Castle, Fox, Harper, Vassell, K.Johnson, and keep throwing different guys at him will help and itll help them not burn out one player too much on one end of the court. THTS WHAT I WOULD DO IF I WAS HEAD COACH. And Wemby against this smaller team should getting 15+ rebounds every game… Frfr… He has to dominate the boards, JOSH HART having more rebounds then him CANNOT HAPPEN if they want to win this Championship. Josh Hart with 15 rebounds and Wemby with 12 is INSANE!!!!!! Josh Hart is 6’4, absolutely no excuse he should have more rebounds then Wemby, that shows pure hustle and WANTING IT MORE…. Josh Hart and Anunoby are going to be the X-FACTOR for the Knicks winning this series. For the Spurs it’s gna be Castle, Harper and taking care of ball, and taking quality shots and and scoring and when their not or their just cold, make the right decisions and create for others
