@Justin G i honestly dont hate bandwagoners because that is how the league grew in the first place, but it does feel damn good being loyal to your 1-2 teams for years and watching them succeed.

Spurs went on that run after benching Aldridge and playing Poeltl. They were getting destroyed by simple bounces because of Aldridge’s complete refusal to leave the paint in pnr coverage

Dale L i think it was mainly Forbes getting benched completely in the second

    • Dale L

      February 2, 2020 at 2:03 am

I’m no fan of Forbes, but what killed us this game was Aldridge getting torched by Zeller on screen actions both on and off the ball. Aldridge not leaving the paint always leads to our scrambling chaotic defense where we’re running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

      February 2, 2020 at 10:27 am

Aldridge slows down the offense and doesn’t provide the defense jakob provides. Spurs would benefit from trading him and making the offense more guard oriented and making jakob the starter. Aldridge is one of the reasons for slow starts throughout the season.

How do we struggle against under .500 teams all season? I don’t get it. We’re capable of destroying teams, but we struggle against weak teams.

So the rodeo trip is clippers, lakers, blazers, kingsx Nuggets, Thunder, Jazz, and thunder. Holy crap that is Loaded schedule. It wouldn’t be unrealistic to say spurs go 3-5 And being optimistic. You can argue spurs could do okay cause they have played well against higher tier competition but they have been terrible on road this year: will def make or break them.
