@Mowgly I’m not even trippin that Dame feels the way he feels. I can’t be mad at a grown ass man in that type of way.
I will say that it’s not my version of an ideal situation, being a huge Dame fan, and as well as being a Red Hot & RipCity Rollin’ Blazer fan for going on 38 years (aka Since I was born. Lol)
I’m still working with a decent understanding of how the market value is trending and how other competitively related transactions have played out, and Miami isn’t really flexin on nobody in terms of available assets to make the needle move, and that’s just the facts right now.
Dame signed his last contract and got that super duper max money, in part because of the lack of a no trade clause being included in it for just this very reason.
He’s only frontin with the Miami or bust talking point because that’s literally all the leverage he has to work with.
Who’s gonna really swap Dame for some shit draft picks and a couple of over paid white boy’s?
I mean, the blazers might just do that donkey ass move, but I’m saying it isn’t the best play in my book.
