‘He can’t coach LeBron’ – Stephen Jackson on Frank Vogel possibly getting Lakers job | The Jump

Published

on

Jorge Sedano, Richard Jefferson and Stephen Jackson answer the great many questions surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers in the wake of Tyronn Lue not becoming the team’s coach, including (0:00) whether Jason Kidd was a major issue in the search; (1:04) Frank Vogel being a top candidate to coach LeBron James & Co.; (2:09) whether Magic Johnson saw all this coming from Jeanie Buss and the front office; and (3:36) how LeBron should feel right now, and what he should do.

Sometimes players make coaches great. Why is it that Lebron is supposed to be the best player, but needs a certain coach. I thought good players are coachable. Could all media outlets kill this G.O.A.T narrative of Lebron so the sport itself can get back to normal.

Anyone else notice that Lebron and Stephen only “respect” black coaches. Vogul has a winning pedigree but Juwan Howard over him?

Stephen Jackson stop talking so much about who can coach LeBron. Nobody can coach LeBron James.
Nobody could coach the greatest of player of all time.. Michael Jordan. They gave him ideas and it was up to him if he’d use them.
Stephen Jackson put your name in the hat!!! I think you’d be a great choice for a head coach. LeBron needs a hard exterior to stand up to him. Smart and knowledgeable about the NBA game
That’s why Doc Rivers is such a good NBA coach. He can walk the walk.
There are many Black former players capable of coaching in the NBA.
Stephen Jackson is one.. Michael Jordan could coach.. Not now as he owns his own team.. Now Magic was a terrible coach.. But the greatest point guard ever.
So let the Lakers know your availability Stephen.. Or any other team for that matter. Get out of the studio and get back in the gym.

He can’t coach Lebron because Lebron wants to manage the team by himself ?

Frank Vogel may be exactly who they need right now to rid themselves of dysfunction and bring the focus back completely to basketball. There is something special about those Indiana guys when it comes to basketball: Wooden, Knight, Bird just to name a few 🙂

KD was right. Lebrons a cancer. Before he showed up, Luke didn’t need to be fired, our entire young core we were excited to build up didn’t need to be traded by Lebron, Jeanie didn’t need to sell the team..enough already. Cut the cancer out.

Ty Lue and J Kidd were not great coaches.

Stephen Jackson’s racism is showing through. Laughs at the idea of Vogel but named Juan Howard? He has no experience. Vogel took pacers to eastern conference finals

Stephen Jackson why don’t you coach the Lakers? I like your input on the game you can do it. Players respect you. I think you could get LeBron to play a little defense.

Breaking News: Labron James hired as. Player/Coach. April Fools…but it kinda makes sense. Labron has a high basketball IQ and he’s getting older. Play and coach, retire then become a full-time Coach/GM then buy the team from the Busses.
