I’m confused. The season series between the Wolves and both teams that they’re tied with are 2-2. It LOOKS like the next tie breaker is conference record, where the Wolves have a better record than either the Thunder or Nuggets. Can someone please explain why all the standings I’ve found have the Thunder on top?

when more than 2 teams are tied in overall record, the (head-to-head) tiebreaker is replaced by (record against all tied teams)…
which is ridiculous for many reasons…
      – the Denver/OKC series record now essentially takes Minnesota out of 1st
      – Denver playing an uninvolved team could determine if Minnesota is 1st or 2nd…
      – in a sense, now none of the teams control their own destiny…
      it’s an Adumb Sliver special

Does anyone remember when ESPN has forums for each team. I remember like early 2000 a guy who posted names Mookie in the HighPost.

The Mookie Banter reminded me of that

ANT got a need break in minutes, KAT got the minutes he needed and Gobert was a beast again playing 38 minutes.

As a lakers fan I’m impressed with the wolves 🐺 this season they have been good, the only way for them to get first place in division and conference is for them to win against Phoenix and for Oklahoma city and Denver to lose their next games

    Scenarios:

    1. If all top 3 wins/lose, okc secured 1st seed, wolves in 2nd seed, nuggets on 3rd seed

    2. If wolves/thunder wins, wolves is number 1, okc is number 2 and nuggets on 3rd seed

    3. If wolves/nuggets win, wolves is 1st seed, nuggets is 2nd seed, okc is 3rd seed

    4. If nuggets/okc win, okc is 1st seed, nuggets is 2nd seed and wolves on 3rd seed

    5. If only okc wins, okc is 1st seed, timberwolves is 2nd seed, nuggets is 3rd seed

    6. If only wolves win, wolves is 1st seed, okc is 2nd seed, nuggets at 3rd seed

    7. If only nuggets win, nuggets at 1st seed, wolves at 2nd seed, okc is at 3rd seed

This is intense west to summarize, Nuggets will be first seed if and only if they win and both OKC or Wolves lost, OKC will be the first seed if they win and needed wolves to lose one game, Wolves gets the first seed if they only win, if nuggets or okc lose a game

So intense see you on sunday
