After just two games, and with two of their starters out, I think they feel nothing except that they need to get their two starters back asap. That’s all.

@brian5238 yea i’m sure a score first combo guard and a elite three point shooter is gonna make up for the lack of playmaking that this hornets offense desperately needs 😂

oof the hornets got blown out by damn near 50? and brandon miller shot 2/14? surely he and the hornets offense could benefit from an elite playmaker point guard that elevates the guys around him and can also score at all three levels…

oh wait they did have one! except they traded him away for a forward that doesn’t provide any of the skills that guy took with him! where are all the “NBA fans” that gloated with glee and said the hornets won the trade by trading away an “unserious, immature basketball player”? i’m sure the two score first guards out due to injury right now will pick up the slack on the playmaking side of things once they get back lol. good luck charlotte, make sure to take LaMelo Ball haters down with you when sinking to the bottom of the East 🤣

I know that this is just game 2 and the Hornets are missing Kon and Coby but man to win by 47pts is eye opening. The Hawks are gonna fly under the radar until they beat the breaks off a team like the 76’ers, Knicks, OKC, Spurs, or the Lakers. The have got to keep this gritty style of play going throughout the season. They won by committee, Dyson Daniels with 7 steals is crazy. Aaron Wiggins is going for that 6th man award early droppin’ 19pts. I like Lu Dort coming in playing relaxed with zero pressure and getting 9pts 5rbs. So all in all what I see is that this Hawks team will have fresh legs throughout the season because there isn’t much of a drop off with the guys on the bench. You can put anybody in the game and they can produce. But they gotta clean up those FT’s 14-22 64%
