Grizzlies: When JJJ and Winslow comes back this can easily be a 5-6 seed team. They’re doing good for a 1st year coach and basically a new team from last year.

Hawks: You need to get rid of Carter, he can’t keep up with these young guys. Get Trae and Collins some help before they request a trade.

Carter is the least of their worries. This team needs Veteran as all you have is a bunch of young kids who have no damn clue how to win in the NBA. I mean if Young was so good he would actually be helping his team win games. Honestly think he’s one of the most overrated players in the NBA. For example if he was on a team like Toronto all he would be is a bench player who can get buckets. No way would he start because his defense is honestly some of the worst in the NBA.

Can’t believe I saw some comments with people thinking that somehow Vince Carter is a big reason why the Hawks are as bad as they are. No they are as bad as they are because they have a bunch of young kids who have no clue what it takes to win in the NBA and a team full of guys who can’t play defense. Your never gonna win shit if you entire team can’t guard anyone. Like Young honestly might be one of the worst defenders in the league. Which is why him starting in the All Star game was an utter joke to me. Half of basketball is defense and if you can’t play it then your not a very good player in my opinion. Like imagine if Young was on a team like the Raptors he would be nothing but a bench player who gets around 20min a night to add some scoring punch to the bench. If he magically got traded to the Raptors today no way in hell would Nurse be starting him over either Lowry and VanVleet. Hawks are never gonna win shit unless they surround Young with great defenders who can cover for his weakness. They were smart in drafting Hunter as he played for Virginia and you know anyone coming out of that school can play some defense.
