Morant is great, and certainly he may take over league in future.
but what Iverson showed, even in rookie year, breaking MJ’s ankle,
Ja has yet to prove at Iverson’s level imo.
srry, but Iverson is iconic figure, there was no one as dynamic at his height in comparison.

He’s his own man. Why are we afraid to say that current stars and future ones are better than what we’ve seen in the past. If I was one of the best basketball players right now and someone similar in the next generation didn’t surpass me…I’d be disappointed.

Finally someone said it, Shaq is seriously overrated as a Center. I’d take Olajawun and Kareem over him anyday, the only reason why he’s considered the “most dominant” because during his time the big men era was pretty much done. Olajawun, Robinson, Ewing were already retired/retiring during Shaq’s reign and he never really dominated any of them. Shaq’s biggest competition in the early 2000s was Vladi Divac, this is why he was “dominant” because there’s no competition for him. A lot of people discredit Kobe because Shaq was the best player but people forget that he had to go up against and defend Iverson, Carter, Mcgrady, Pierce and Miller while Shaq’s competition was Divac and Yao

1 finals win against Shaq and Kobe totally understates that win, SHAQ N KOBE WERE AT THEIR ABSOLUTE PEAK TOGETHER. They smoked the western conference playoffs with 3 STRAIGHT 4-0 sweeps. That sixers team had no business beating that pacers team in the first round , Vince carters raptors in 7 games and that bucks squad in 7. So to come straight out of a game 7 and win a game 1 on the road against that lakers team, mind u they were down 17 in the 3rd qtr before AI put them ON HIS BACK! Mad dog disrespected the answer today!
