Don’t be fooled, Drew leagues not NBA level play. It’s a shooters league with zero emphasis on D. We already know what happens when you put a guy in Jellos jersey, lock down mode, he don’t score at all, or very little.

Cherry picking 52 points is not going to attract NBA scouts. If I may suggest, Li Angelo should focus more on being a defensive monster like a PJ Tucker or a Draymond. That’s his best chance.

I’m not surprised Gelo got 52 pts he was the only person shooting the ball and was jacking up bad shots…& stopped playing Defense to run down court to shoot more bad shots or cause turnovers😆😆😆😆😆The other dude that had 59 took much better shots. There’s something about Gelo that makes him look unathletic. He seems to have a high IQ on the court tho. If only he were 3 or 4 inches taller he’d be in the NBA already. I don’t ever see Gelo drive to the basket. Well he did once towards the end there. Maybe I’m trippin.

He was what, 185 nationally coming out of HS? Which is very impressive. It’s just that maybe 45 guys make the league each year and of that number maybe 15 will be NBA difference makers. The league is so tough. If he had stayed at UCLA maybe he would have developed into NBA player. He should have never left college. LaVar was totally wrong to handle it the way he did
