Jokic is on his way to being a top ten all-time player, he has an unstoppable midrange and 3 point package and he’s probably the best post player in the game. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is the greatness of Jokic. Full skills on display. He gives up a 70% shot in paint to dish to Gordon for a 99% alley oop. On the defensive end he decides to give Chris Paul a chance for a three that was rather uncontested for a 50% or so chance to hit. When behind and you need to come back, a good gamble to take. If he hits it’s over… but Paul misses, and back the other way.

Jokic rescues a broken play to get the ball in the post where he plays bully ball where he as a 80%+ chance to score and he does. Goes back the other way, and knowing his own limitations and how Curry can make space, hand gestures for the double team to come on Curry. The double team forces Curry to pass instead of the difficult shot. Murray makes the play that flies under the radar, he fakes closing out on Paul and Curry bites trying to make the skip pass to the corner that gets intercepted.

Finally after the turnover, inbounds play to Yoke, very difficult to assign a probability to that shot, but Yoke has as good a chance as anyone to make it and he converts. Curry is left chewing his mouthpiece, but it’s a sign of game recognizing game. Curry is one of the best to ever lace them up, but it’s not just the final shot that leaves him dumbfounded it’s all the elite decision making of the past several plays on both ends that as great as Curry is, he acquiesces that he’s up against someone better.
