The Hawks defeated the Jazz, 124-121 tonight in Utah. Trae Young contributed a team-high 24 points to go with 20 assists, 3 three-pointers and 2 rebounds, with Clint Capela of the Hawks adding an additional 18 points (9-11 FG) in the game. Lauri Markkanen finished with a team-high 35 points along with 8 three-pointers for the Jazz in the losing effort. The Hawks improve their record to 19-18 with the win, while the Jazz fall to 9-26 for the season. The Jazz’s next game is Thursday, 1/9/2025, against the Heat on the road (9:00 PM ET, KJZZ/FanDuel Sports Network – Sun), while the Hawks continue their road trip on Thursday, 1/9/2025, when they face the Suns (9:00 PM ET, Arizona’s Family 3TV / Arizona’s Family Sports/FanDuel Sports Network – Southeast – Atlanta).
