I think its awesome to see that they actually know how to move around the court , understand positioning and have a passing game.
They have fundamentals, unlike the male east coast BIL team where they resort to ISO 1v1S , random 3pt jumpers or scoring on fast-breaks.
Nevertheless, you can see in this video the harsh reality of the difference between men and women in sports.
All it takes is 1 or 2 guys that just know how to properly drive to the hoop and the female can’t stop it.
To give you a comparison, the guy with grey sweats and dark blue hoodie that was just running down the whole court and finishing with a lay up.
Him running at them.. is like Zion running towards the hoop against you , and you’re a 5’10 male 170 lbs.
You’re just not gonna stop him, even if you foul him viciously, hes still gonna score 9/10 times.
Its just body mass+ speed against whatever you’re offering. In their case its 100- 120 lbs. and a 10 inch vertical.
I’m from Europe and in my country there was no highschool or college basketball.
If you wanted to play ball you have to play for a club.
The leagues are based on age and the cutoff for kids is 15. The next level is 15-18 and then after that, you either made it and some team is paying you to play or you’re done.
When i was 13 years the coaches arranged a scrimmage and we played a friendly game against the female prospects for their pro A-Team.
These girls were mostly around 18 already and our team was mostly 13-14 year old boys.
Most of the girls were taller than most of the boys , excluding our centers.
Same story. They had great fundamentals, great movement on the court.. all of them could shoot and their centers had better footwork and skills than our centers.
We still beat them by 40 points.
They couldn’t even stop my little 5’8 ass when i would drive or take one of the girls 1v1
They cannot match our speed. I was literally just using the advantage i had of the first step. I either blow right past them.. or they fly off if I quick-stop or change direction.
Not saying that i couldn’t do that to the guys, just saying it was really easy against the girls. It was like i was at my normal speed but they were all in slow-motion.
Bottom line .. even if they perfected their offense, had impeccable plays and didn’t miss a single shot, they still couldn’t defend against us.
