I hope Kobe wherever he is realizes and understands how much we miss and love him.

Barnes said he played the day after his mother passed away. That’s Powerful!

Eddie Manrique yeah he is a man. And Carmelo stayed in Portland. Made it about him. Everyone else played, but him. And he played two games between Sunday and tonight. Just weak.

Not taking away from their gesture but I think it would of been even better to split it equally to all the crash victims families/estates so that their burials and any fees from their death that needed buttoned up could be.

Oh wow they said later in the video Vanessa said she would do that exact thing with the fee money. What a great woman and I just wish all the families strength to navigate this difficult time.

Why does he need a foundation Kobe has tons of money

    • UNFITTED1

      February 1, 2020 at 3:46 am

The foundation is for others. Kobe had multiple foundations when he was alive to give back.

Sigh they should make a Kobe museum and use the walls as the wall of the fans who wrote on it with the statue outside of him and gigi with a mini 1vs 1 basket ball court.

Matt Barnes played the day after his mother died! And Carmelo took a game off after playing in two games since Kobe. Sorry, but that’s ridiculous. Kobe was the ultimate competitor and how Carmelo honored his close friend was to not show up? I don’t get it at all. It bugs me that Carmelo made this about him, but I guess that is not a big shock right. Lebron played. Anthony Davis played. Heck, Trevor Ariza, who was his teammate for two year and won a title with him, played. But Carmelo stayed in Portland.

exactly…it’s insane. My guess is Kobe’s money handlers and now the ones advising Vanessa came up with the idea to milk this for all it’s worth by asking to donate to the other victims so they don’t have to fork over any dough themselves. They rely on the stupidity of the public who idolize and worship athletes and actors to not even realize they’re just putting up the cash when ultimately Kobe’s estate should be responsible to take care of those families since they died under his watch. Now the bankers are happy because the millions she should be giving over to them is in their hands and this will diminish the possibility of any future lawsuits by setting up the fund so the families are taken care of and don’t come for Kobe’s estate money later on.
