Sixers got blown out in Game 1 as well. And remember, the first time Embiid went to the bench, the score went from tied to C’s up 14. Embiid is not the problem here.

Pritchard is a starting caliber player that loves to spark the game from the bench. That man is DIFFERENT. A whole ANOMOLY. If he does this his whole career as a Celtic, he’ll go down in history as the greatest 6th man/bench player to ever play the game. I’m talking NBA history, not team history. I love humility in star players. Pritchard is a GOD in this aspect. The Jays played well on top of it all. We have a great team, a great coach, and if this stays this way, we will represent the EAST come championship time. I have faith we’ll win it all. CELTIC PRIDE!!!!! I will NEVER like a team that wins an NBA game by relying TOO MUCH on the THREE-POINT ARC.

The BOSTON CELTICS are a ONE-DIMENSIONAL team, similar to the CHARLOTTE HORNETS, who are only really good OUTSIDE THE ARC.
They are copying the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS, and I never liked them because STEPHEN CURRY won championships mainly through THREE-POINT SHOOTING.
A team should be 50% OFFENSE and 50% DEFENSE, with a balance of INSIDE and OUTSIDE SCORING—not 80–90% from beyond the arc. PERIOD.

The Celtics shot 53% of their total shots from 2pt fg range and the other 47% from 3fg this year. Seems like an even balance to me.
They were the 2nd best offence and the 4th best defence.
So…… there’s that.

@ThinkForge01 they won because they out rebounded the sixers by 21 and playing great defense in the first half holding the sixers to 38 points and then just holding serve until they broke the sixers in the 2nd half. The 3s are why it was a 32 point win but defense and effort is what got them the lead in the first half that they used as momentum to carry the game.

No such thing as relying too much on the 3-point arc; teams win by scoring however they can. Your personal preference doesn’t make their wins less valid.

Tyrese is part of the problem! The Sixers have NO flow to their half court offense because Maxey is a TRASH ASZ PG! He only knows how to score! He’s NOT good at running an offense, managing a game OR making good decisions! He either scores, turns it over or looks for the refs to bail him out! This team is also built with 1 on 1 players! NO ONE to create easy shots for others, it’s more of, “Ok, your turn to score now and we will wait to see if you can do it!” Nick Nurse if fkn trash too! Notice how the Lakers have schemes and things with JJ Reddick as their coach? WTF schemes does Nurse run to get open shots etc.? And the defense is TRASH ALWAYS!!!!!
