      May 24, 2023 at 6:38 pm

@Ryan Boyce Yep, cause if they wouldn’t give him his well deserved Magic trophy he damn sure is not getting the Bill Russel trophy. Even the bench players will share the Larry O but Jamal should’ve been rewarded for winning games 1, 2, and 3.

@Criminal Lawyer I agree with you 100% if it wasn’t for his historic performance in Game 1, 2 and 3 then the Nuggets wouldn’t have gotten the sweep over the Lakers!

@Pain Nagato Thank you. Jamal was legendary in those first 3 games.

This man is the most underrated player ever. I take him over guys like harden, Westbrook, CP3, and Booker cuz he actually shows up when it matters most.

      May 25, 2023 at 7:09 pm

@Marcus Ostrander you’re not understanding what I’m saying. Jamal is streaky. However he’s had multiple best games of his career in critical games in critical moments. He has most 20 point 4th quarters in playoff history. That’s insane. Booker doesn’t have that in his bag yet.

    • Marcus Ostrander

      May 25, 2023 at 8:16 pm

@halfdozengp You said you’d take him over Booker. I think that’s a little crazy

    • halfdozengp

      May 25, 2023 at 8:27 pm

@Marcus Ostrander how is that crazy. You want inflated regular season numbers or do you want a winner? Booker is incredible, but awful under pressure. Jamal is great, but elite under pressure. Being elite under pressure is far more valuable than 80% in non elimination games, and non existent when it’s win or go home.

    • Marcus Ostrander

      May 25, 2023 at 10:02 pm

@halfdozengp Oh wow, I just looked at his scoring numbers in every elimination game he’s lost and yeah he’s pretty terrible. I had no idea he was that bad. I will point out though that Devin Booker plays much better in elimination games that he wins. When you look at the elimination games that Murray has lost he scored 17 points on 22% shooting from the field going 0-4 from three the other time he scored 17 points going 7-17 from the field and 0-4 from three. Obviously if you look at the games players lose their stats aren’t going to be as good. In the elimination games that Booker wins (which is five only counting games where he eliminates the other team not ones where he just stays alive because I was too lazy to look for all of those) he averages 32 points in those games. Booker has chocked pretty badly in three elimination games but he’s also the main reason that his team ever has a shot at making the playoffs. The Nuggets on the other hand had no problem making the playoffs without Murray because they have arguably the best player in the league. I’m not saying Murray isn’t fantastic and I’m not trying to take anything away from his accomplishments as a Thunder fan I fell in love with Murray after his duel with Mitchell. I have nothing but respect for Murray and I love watching him play but at the end of the day if I had to choose between him and Booker I would take Booker.

      May 25, 2023 at 10:47 pm

@Marcus Ostrander ok fair enough. We have at least 10 years to figure out who’s right. Murray has only been eliminated twice. Start there.
