I know why they didnt come. The Nba teams are Company and owners AND if a Team wins The Ring. The trophy becomes 1st the owner AND then the players ! I didnt show up, too ! Because they honored the manager Not the players !!!!

SAS is spot on on this one. A GM can never be forgiven for breaking up the best team in the NBA because of his dislike of Phil Jackson. You cannot have the best player ever retire because the Bulls would not rehire his favorite coach. The 1999 Bulls in a shortened season had a good a chance as anybody to win the chip for a 4th straight time. Unforgivable. But I don’t condone the booing.

They already received all their alcalades, they don’t need to go to a now losing bulls team. Everyone knows who they are and what they accomplished. The real tragedy is the Bulls since they left. A ghost of it’s former self. I wouldn’t have showed up either.

If I bought in billions of dollars into a business as a result of my performance, and my boss stabs me and my team in the back… I’m not honoring him in any fashion. Posthumously or otherwise. F*** him and at his.

Michael Jordan did not have to retire just because Krause was getting rid of Phil. Blame Mike for being so attached to Phil that he’d rather retire than play for another coach
