Did the Suns just turn around their franchise, or is the new hire just more of the same? | The Jump

Published

on

Jorge Sedano, Stan Van Gundy, Amin Elhassan and Richard Jefferson of The Jump react to the Phoenix Suns hiring former Detroit Pistons GM Jeff Bower as senior vice president of basketball operations, joining general manager James Jones, assistant GM Trevor Bukstein and owner Robert Sarver on the team’s org chart. Elhassan discusses why this is a continuation of their dysfunction, including the note that Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald sat in on discussions. Van Gundy, who worked with Bower in Detroit, talks about why this hire is a good thing.

We need a good point guard. More of a pass first point guard. Maybe Conley by trade or Rondo or Lin in the off-season.

If they can get a point guard like Ja Morat in the draft his year, they may be on to something despite this pain in the behind owner of theirs.

That’s why the NBA Draft is overrated because of the 60 players that get picked only a couple make an immediate impact

What the Suns need to do is get rid of Robert Sarver, the owner. He is complete garbage. Just as bad as the Cavs owner.

I’m a Blazer fan, but it would be exciting if the Suns got Ja Morant. He could be the missing piece to finally making that talent click.

James Jones gonna keep the Suns bottom feeders for as long as Lebron’s playing in the NBA. He doesn’t want more competition for his buddy bud. Cmon now.
