Did Mark Cuban go too far by tweeting at officials after Blazers vs. Mavs? | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols, Ramona Shelburne and Chiney Ogwumike head to “Crunch Time,” discussing Tacko Fall making his NBA debut in Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, and Russell Westbrook passing Magic Johnson on the all-time triple-doubles list. They then (1:52) discuss the controversial ending to Portland Trail Blazers vs. Dallas Mavericks, in which a coach’s challenge successfully overturned a call — and Mavs owner Mark Cuban called out officials on Twitter.

WNBA players complain about equal pay but they don’t even cover their sport!

Why all women discussing ball? Their comments are cringy. All 3 never had an experience playing against grown up men inside the court. ESPN got no mo money to pay the former ball players to host?

Mavs shoulda made all 41 of their free throws🀣

should’ve only got 18 FT’s. All they do is shoot threes. They are not drawing contact on the three point line. Refs tried to give them the game but the mavs still lost.

Takes 20 seconds to ask the question… Gives 4 seconds for them to answer. Smfh. Get rid of the shot clock timer… This isn’t PTA or Around The Horn.

For some reason I thought the coach’s challenge was not valid during the last couple of minutes of a game.

well considering it was a bullshit call, nope he didn’t go far enough in my opinion

The NBA should do the same thing with coach’s challenges as the NFL. The head referee goes to the middle of the court, turns on a mic, and explains the referee team’s decision to the crowd.

I’m totally with Cuban here. Huge Mavs fan but that wasn’t the reason why we lost. We left too many points at the free throw line that’s all.

    • Tod Wilkinson

      October 29, 2019 at 12:30 am

So you as a coach just says. “Shoot better at the free throw line and make 95% everygame and you’ll win the Championship”.

      Casual.

Kp and Luka learn not to force 3 pointers they will kill it and will have even better numbers then they do already. 5/21 on 3s between them both that’s what happens when you have a big lead get shot happy. But dallas playing playoff this year for sure!!!

If you want to call that β€œbody contact” a foul then every single fucking play there would be a foul smh

Dallas will mop up the blazers next time. CJ had the game of his life, highly doubt he will drop that again against the mavs. He ain’t dropping 35 again

    • Tod Wilkinson

      October 29, 2019 at 12:29 am

The Mavs usually lose to the Blazers. Seems like in the last 9 years they are like 5 and 25 vs the Blazers.

    • Tod Wilkinson

      October 29, 2019 at 12:28 am

cuban is such a fanboy. He doesn’t even know anything about the game. He’s the one that made the NBA just start calling everything a goaltend. Some player will rebound a bad miss that the ball is coming off the rim a foot and they will rebound it… now it’s called a goaltend cause of mark cuban.

Dorian was fouled three times before the strip, and there was contact on the strip. Very very bad call.

    • Tod Wilkinson

      October 29, 2019 at 12:27 am

that wasn’t a foul. A foul is when you shove someone down to the ground or you wind up and hit someone.

Dallas were robbed 2 free throws not the game because he needed to hit them but he pushed him mid air so how isn’t that a foul?
