Steph Curry, Allen Iverson, Both not elite defenders still have never fouled out in the playoffs but the refs get Luka out in a close game? Luka was messing up the script 🙄

All I hear is hate from SAS. Compare his stats to Taytum and then see who played better. He was really hurt all playoff. Boston had the better team. In the end its a team game. That white boy on Boston is a flame thrower from 3’s. Who does Dallas have? Halliday is a star caliber player. Who is Dallas’ 3rd star? Boston had Brown, Taytum, Porzingis, Halliday, and a bevy of quality role players.

He needs to get in better shape, work on his athleticism, stop being so ball dominant all the time and learn how to make your teammates better without the ball. Boston basically played you 1 on 1 instead of helping off your teammates much, which is why you were only able to average 5.6 assists. If they’re gonna do that, and with how ball dominant you are with how many Isolations and Pick and Rolls you run over the course of a game, you’d better be averaging 38 PPG. You also can’t play that extreme ball dominant heliocentric style all year and then expect your teammates to suddenly change in the Finals and be able to play Motion offense or the Triangle, you need to do that all year to prepare for the playoffs. Are your surface level stats going to take a dip? Yes, because you won’t have the ball in your hands as much, but at least the ball will be moving more and you won’t be so low in team assists/g and team passes/g. Remember, logic dictates that one player having the ball in his hands for long periods of time means it’s not able to move, hence why the Mavericks have been low in team passes/g and team assists/g for many seasons in a row now.

People need to be a bit more realistic. Michael Jordan or LeBron James wouldn’t even win with this mavericks roster, especially against a team as ridiculously stacked as Boston. Dallas had a great, improbable run, but they were never a legitimate championship level team (I tried making this point over and over before the finals started). Sure Luka wasn’t great by his standards, but its hard to criticize when you bring a g league team to the finals and have to play against the best team of the last 10 years. Luka is the last person tarnished by this playoff run.

The fat guy always blames Luka..meanwhile KYRIE plays no defense and did not contribute more in scoring.

    So who is to blame?

No actually luka did great all year and he brought a team that really had no business being in the finals to the finals

I mean come on, Dallas never had this great of a player in Luka since Dirk and Dirk’s loyalty of staying there to finally win a chip is what Dallas needs from Luka.

I still can’t believe that despite Luka being a terrible FT shooter, somehow he is still shooting a higher career FT% than LBJ.

Nothing to tarnish, total disappointment, nothing can be adjusted to him or to the team, he will not see the finals again…

I do not see how it tarnished his image, but it might’ve exposed his weaknesses. He can only grow from here. He’s still very young. The best thing he could do is to get in shape first like real shape.
