Big pick up from the magic. They desperately needed 3pt shooting. Big season coming up for him

If Orlando can improve its 3 it shooting, the defense is already good. They’re going to be a force in the East.

    • @3PointsAtATime

They really need to, and I’m sure they noticed as well.

Last year, these were the leaders of 3 point attempts per game:

      1: SG Jalen Suggs shot a team-high 6.9 3PA per game and shot 31% from 3

2: PF Paolo Banchero and SF Franz Wagner shot 5.9 3 pointers per game. Paolo made 32% of his threes, while Franz made 29%

Bane took just a few less threes than Jalen Suggs (6.1) last year and shot 8% better than him.

Even Tyus Jones (probably the new starting PG) shot 41% from the field on 5 attempts a game, allowing the rest of the players like Banchero (45% FG), Wagner (46% FG), and Suggs (41% FG) to play inside the arc more often

top 3 3pt shooter in the league

  13. @dmitriyshcholokov3526

    September 11, 2025 at 5:46 pm

Magic is in a good place even without him. But he is top. Jalen Suggs is also in that back court. Two guards 6’5 each, 215 and 205 lbs. Added to Bancero and Wagner (pair of 6’10 forwards) and eaither of Bitadze or Wendell Carter (250, 270) and you have the most massive lineup in the league. But you also have a solid PG in Tyus Jones with high A/T ratio and FG%. With east open, looks season ready to me

As a Grizzlies fan, Bane will be a great fit in Orlando, as long as he stays consistent. He had locker room issues here in Memphis, which would affect his game.
