I kinda feel bad for grizzlies fans tho, ja lost the spark he had in 2022, and they haven’t won a playoff series since then

@ytgusani it is sad for the grizzlies fans, but that organization accommodated Ja, and now look.

@Melomanie-Redye I get what u mean, if I was him I wouldn’t wanna play either after they traded away his teammates especially bane

@ytgusani 😂 No I’m saying, Ja blew it with his ‘wanna be gun Gangster’ behavior and the Grizzlies accommodated it. Now the organization as a whole has been slowly eviscerating. Seriously, they got rid of that coach and those fantastic players to coddled Ja? Obviously a huge mistake. Oh well.

VJ Edgecombe stepped up in a major way in Game 7 on May 2, 2026, finishing with 23 PTS, 6 REB, 4 AST, and 5 3PM.

Edgecombe set the 76ers franchise record for most points by a rookie in a Game 7, passing Maurice Cheeks (20 in 1979).

He also made history beyond the franchise:

Just the 2nd rookie EVER to hit 5+ threes in a Game 7, joining Luguentz Dort
Joins Jayson Tatum as the only players in NBA history with 20+ PTS in a Game 7 at age 20 or younger
First rookie EVER with 20+ PTS, 5+ REB, and 5+ 3PM in a Game 7

A breakout performance on the biggest stage 🔥
