this may sound crazy, but i honestly would prefer brown over tatum. i feel when they are firing on all cylinders tatum has better upside, but i like browns game better and he more consistent.

@DereckFTW Tatum has averaged 1 more points 5 more rebounds 2 more assists and one less turnover if Jaylen brown was the first option not only would he get the ball more he would have to take more shots and tougher shots lowering his efficiency so no he hasn’t been better

@Amari basketball isn’t all stats you can tell brown has that dog in him tatumn is a better scorer then brown yeah. Brown has that killer instinct in him and stays more consistent then tatumn especially in the playoffs it’s hard to explain thru text

@DereckFTW of course basketball isn’t just stats I watch every every celtics game but it’s not like I can show that to you throw text

@Amari I do too bro lol I live 15-20 minutes from Boston raised as a Celtics fan 😭 tatumn is nice I just prefer brown over him we’re probably gonna lose brown in free agency because the disrespect he gets from the media and some boston fans

True, Brown is just not that dude that likes to ruffle feathers and that is why he needs to go t another team where he gets equal opportunities.

Problem is smart wouldnt pass anyone the ball not named tatum.
Its either smart himself or tatum.

You hit the nail in the coffin..there have been many times where Brown has asked for the ball and he will not pass it to him. Smart benefits from his two man play with Tatum, so he will always be happy if they continue to play how they do.

He probably too worried about Marcus Smart crying over the ball again.

I’m not a Stephen A Smith fan, but I agree 100%. I really want to see Jaylen demand his teammate’s gove him the ball more especially when he gets off to the great starts he gets off to. But I also don’t think it sucks he even has to take that approach. Boston always caters to Tatum, and Boston always makes an effort to get him the ball despite him getting off to bad starts. Jaylen deserves better, and Boston better hope this doesn’t cause him to want to leave.
