They were talking like Raptors were bums without Kawhi. They needed a guy to get them over, there’s a difference. Their record without Kawhi speaks for itself. Last year, Kawhi was even carried in a few games he wasn’t playing well. If Siakam turns into a guy that can get them over, then another legit championship contender is born. Miami Heat, and Raptors are up and coming teams no one is talking about. And what’s impressive about the Raptors is they won a championship, lost a star, and skipped the rebuilding part.
