The Celtics were down by as many as 26 points in this game, this ties the largest comeback of the season. (Clippers had comeback from down 26 vs. SAS on 11/4/24)

The Celtics defeated the 76ers, 118-110 tonight in Philadelphia. Jayson Tatum contributed a team-high 35 points to go with 11 assists 7 rebounds and 5 three pointers, with Jaylen Brown of the Celtics adding an additional 21 points (9-17 FG, 2-7 3P) in the game. Tyrese Maxey finished with a team-high 34 points along with 6 assists for the 76ers in the losing effort. The Celtics improve their record to 35-15 with the win, while the 76ers fall to 19-29 for the season. The 76ers’ next game is Tuesday, 2/4/2025, against the Mavericks on the road (7:00 PM ET, NBCSP+/KFAA), while the Celtics continue their road trip on Tuesday, 2/4/2025, when they face the Cavaliers (7:30 PM ET, TNT/truTV/Max).

    Whenever Tatum plays the sixers, you know he’s about to do something crazy. 51 points in game 7. Starting 1-14 in elimination game and then going crazy. He had a game winner against them a few years ago. And now this. Sixers fans must hate him
