Cavaliers Rookie Emoni Bates Puts Up 16 PTS, 6 AST, 2 STL In Summer League Debut!

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Brooklyn Nets, 101-97. Sharife Cooper led all scorers with 27 points as Emoni Bates (16 points, 6 rebounds) and Sam Merrill (15 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists) totaled 31 points for the Cavaliers. Armoni Brooks (17 points, 6 rebounds) and Jalen Wilson (17 points, 5 rebounds) led Brooklyn.

    boy was out there chucking, but only a couple of the shots were really crazy. he was doing a lot more off ball than i expected, and wasnt getting manhandled defensively. i think the cavs gonna help him reach his potential
