Honest analysis (I was never a Wizards fan, just followed Russ here this season):
With a healthy Brad, Russ playing at this level, and everybody else stepping up, Wizards will probably be the most potent team in both conferences to make the play-in tourney. But making it out of there is quite the challenge, especially considering how the Wizards rarely win by double digits. They almost never dominated games even in the good stretches since the all-star break. I’m picking them over Indiana and Boston, but there’s no guarantee they’ll win even one of the play-in games because Brad is questionable, the defense sucks and the others aren’t really that good. I would love for them to take on the Nets in the first round and beat them, but it will probably go down 4-2 Nets, similar situation if they face the Sixers. If they do make it out of the first round, I see them making the ECF over teams like Miami and Atlanta, possibly even the Bucks who have a record of underperforming at the playoffs; though Jimmy Buckets is the man, and there’s every indication that he’ll will the Heat into the Finals again.
Not capping, being a little too optimistic yes. Russ deserves to make it out of the second round. The basketball gods are watching.

Finally, clinch a play-in spot. Still a lot of work to do before reaching the Playoffs. No matter what happens, I’m proud of this team. The turnaround of our season was fun.

Is it crazy how the Wizards have a worse record without Beal than the Warriors do without Curry. Wizards are 2-10 without Beal and the Warriors are 2-7 without Curry.
