Canes didn’t need to get out of 3rd gear for this series, they’ve got another level to go to.

    • @chuckwright8889

      May 10, 2026 at 10:46 am

they will need it against Buffalo (likely) or Montreal.

In nearly 9 hours of playoff hockey, the Hurricanes have only trailed for 52 minutes and 4 seconds.

As a canes fan I am rooting for the sabres. I could be remembering wrong but I think the Canadians have won like 3 games straight against the canes.

    • @seeerr5570

      May 10, 2026 at 8:38 am

Both buf and mtl have played the canes hard. Next series is going to be really, really tough. Hopefully buf/mtl go seven bruising, draining games.

    • @therecanbeonly1497

      May 10, 2026 at 8:47 am

The Canes lost 3 to Montreal 100% thanks to Dobes stealing them.

    • @tommym3886

      May 10, 2026 at 9:12 am

      Dobes has the canes number.

    • @Goatdad716

      May 10, 2026 at 10:42 am

I promise you the canes should handle both MTL and BUF no problem

    • @DMOWAIVERS

      May 10, 2026 at 10:52 am

Carolina is done if Montreal is next for them

With the Panthers out this year. This is their window. No excuses!

      Boston and Tampa too

Every time I think analysts can’t get worse than PK and Messier, I realize these boneheads from TNT exist. God hockey analysis in the US is trash. You all need to do better.

Yeah, there’s a reason I try to find a SN stream. I even have HBO…

Let’s go Canes!!!!Its our year to go and get the Cup…🫡💯

Carolina face better scoring teams rest of playoffs

  11. @Cliinsixx

    May 10, 2026 at 10:08 am

Two easy opponents. And they’ll get the sabres/habs next round. This year’s playoff is a joke

    • @rollingstones06

      May 10, 2026 at 8:30 pm

Yeah I know the West is so tough with the kings oilers and ducks 😂

    • @Cliinsixx

      May 10, 2026 at 9:20 pm

@rollingstones06 no one’s beating colorado this year and vegas swept the canes this season. 95 point western team has better chance to knock the canes out in the final.

    May 10, 2026 at 10:10 am

What grown adult calls themself “Ace” what a loser. I turn it off as soon as I see him. As a Western Canadian ice watched him play a lot. Was never a hater till his broadcast career. I know he must lose as much sleep as I do about it lol

  13. @nothingtoseaheardammit

    May 10, 2026 at 10:46 am

Bravo to the Philly fans (who once boo’ed Santa Claus) to get behind their team and give them a good send off.

    Lets go Canes.

  14. @DMOWAIVERS

    May 10, 2026 at 10:51 am

Carolina is the 1 seed. It’s not that big of a deal they should be winning.

    • @nocluewhatimdoing4543

      May 10, 2026 at 10:55 am

A team hasn’t started the playoffs 8-0 in about 40 years, but sure it’s not a big deal

    • @CantripCaniac

      May 10, 2026 at 10:57 am

And I guarantee you, if Carolina lost a game or two in either round, everyone would still be calling them frauds.

    • @rollingstones06

      May 10, 2026 at 8:27 pm

@nocluewhatimdoing4543it’s ok let them keep sleeping. They won’t know what hit them 😂

  15. @Blessed_by_Marika

    May 10, 2026 at 11:09 am

Sens and Flyers. They haven’t even been put up against legit contenders yet calm down

  16. @crowlee5111

    May 10, 2026 at 11:16 am

Best coach in hockey. Made the playoffs 8 years in a row and always one of the top teams with often just regular players. He makes regular players, no one elite and regular goalies names an actual team. It takes a team to go all the way

  17. @MasterYoda999

    May 10, 2026 at 11:23 am

Everyone says the Avs would crush Carolina but yall keep sleeping on Carolina

  18. @muscleshark42

    May 10, 2026 at 11:34 am

As a Habs fan, I am happy the Canes won. We swept them in the regular season (including 2 wins against Andersen). Once we finish off Buffalo, the Canes are next.

Don’t hype the Canes up too much with their 8-0 start. They faced weak competition with the Sens and Flyers. 4 of the games they won were one goal games.

    • @5CinqSaisons

      May 10, 2026 at 11:43 am

I’m right there with you, brother!

    • @drstrnglv64

      May 10, 2026 at 4:37 pm

they faced “weak competition” because they are the top seed. They are the top seed because they got it done all year long … 113 points, +4 over Buffalo, +7 over Montreal. so go ahead, keep underestimating them at your own peril.

    • @muscleshark42

      May 10, 2026 at 4:49 pm

      @drs@drstrnglv64Underestimating? 7-5, 5-2, and 3-1 says it all.

    • @drstrnglv64

      May 10, 2026 at 4:56 pm

@muscleshark42and the Canes are 8-0 in the playoffs, haven’t given up more than 2 goals in a game the entire playoffs … 5 total in the first round, 5 in the 2nd … 3-0 in OT.

And when the puck drops in the next series, none of that will matter, both teams will be 0-0.

  19. @JamesK2064

    May 10, 2026 at 11:45 am

The Flyers lost a couple of key players and still took Carolina to OT a couple of games. So it wasn’t as much of a blowout as people think.

    • @mxkrvgr

      May 10, 2026 at 1:25 pm

No one called it a blowout. Just a dominant performance.

    • @mkailov13

      May 10, 2026 at 9:30 pm

      Cry

    • @JamesK2064

      May 10, 2026 at 10:29 pm

@mkailov13im not crying. Im looking forward to next year.

  20. @philipdumont2286

    May 10, 2026 at 11:49 am

They played the weakest teams so far

  21. @5CinqSaisons

    May 10, 2026 at 12:17 pm

After all that said and done. The Canes will have to come face to face whit the real contender, the Montréal Canadiens. They will face one of the best talented team in the league whit heart & soul to spare! Watch out for the power play…It will come just at the right time! Epic battle to come…can someone make sure to send Brind’Amour a box of chewing bubblegum, it will come handy 💨

  22. @ghhtdesfh

    May 10, 2026 at 2:06 pm

    Forget the Fliers!

  23. @mattmatt7314

    May 10, 2026 at 3:52 pm

Yeah, the boys knew that wasn’t goalie interference. Awkward silence 😂

    • @rollingstones06

      May 10, 2026 at 8:24 pm

Freddy got leveled twice and not even a penalty…

  24. @michaeldobson8859

    May 10, 2026 at 4:25 pm

Flyers lucky to be in the playoffs. I dont think they will be back next year. Their cross checking nasty game didnt work against the Canes speed rush.

  25. @mkailov13

    May 10, 2026 at 9:31 pm

Clown franchise gets their just deserts
