As a warriors fan, I think drafting Poerdemski over him was smart. In the long run it will pay off. He will be a great leader and playmaker who can snipe u from anywhere. Cam is just a SL performer

@UncJockstrap I’m not sure how much Fvv can rlly teach. He just doesn’t seem like a leader type guy. Plus cam will be playing with him, sengun, Brooks, green and possibly KPJ so it’ll be hard to grow. Poerdemski will be playing solid minutes and having 2 of the smartest players ever teaching him along with 2 elite shooters telling him to let it fly. Also Podziemski might not be the best defender but he’s willing to step in for charges. Drew 4 of them in 1 game against the Pelicans

@GOD FIRST🙏🏽 how has all that veteran leadership helped the Warriors’ recent young draft picks? The most successful of them, i.e., Poole, got packaged in a trade for an aging Chris Paul because of tension with the veteran core, specifically Green who punched him in the face. Wiseman, their #2 overall pick, and his development went so well he was traded for Payton II and second round picks before his rookie contract was even up. Kuminga and Moody have not proven much of anything yet.
There is a reason Whitmore was widely regarded as a top 10 pick prior to being flagged for potential injury concerns. As a 19-year-old 6’7″ wing with a strong ~230 lb. frame that can defend the point of attack, hit catch-and-shoot threes, attack closeouts, and finish strong around the rim, he is a much better prospect than Podziemski. If we are using Summer League performances, Whitmore put up 26 points on 11-21 shooting, 8 steals, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block in 30 minutes against Podziemski and the Warriors. Whitmore will be just fine with the rest of the Rockets’ young core under the Rockets’ new coaching staff and added veterans.

@GOD FIRST🙏🏽 I wasn’t aware of the charges that’s cool shows that he at least cares but I think the argument that Pod will have a bigger role day 1 than cam doesn’t make sense you named a bunch of players that don’t play cams postion he will have tari and Jabari in front of him pod will have steph and cp0 the warriors have been known in recent years also to not play their young guys wiseman, kuminga, moody, Patrick Baldwin who should’ve gotten some run imo very good shooter at a pretty high volume

@GOD FIRST🙏🏽 personally I like pbj cuz he wasn’t bad on defense either but he should’ve rebounded more pod is a combo guard and even if he don’t get minutes day 1 steph and cp3 aging I for sure see him as a future starter but I would say the same thing with cam

@GOD FIRST🙏🏽 you are coping. The veteran leadership helped Poole so much it eventually got him a fist to the face and a ticket to DC. Kuminga and Moody barely played for that championship team. They averaged 8 minutes per game in the playoffs. Neither took significant steps forward in their sophomore seasons. Wiseman was injured, and he was not a good/impactful basketball player despite having all that veteran leadership around him. Whitmore is a better prospect than Pod. You are delusional for believing otherwise.
