The New York Knicks take Game 1 over the Atlanta Hawks, 113–102, behind strong performances from their new playoff duo on April 18, 2026.

Jalen Brunson led the way with 28 points and 7 assists, continuing his historic postseason run with his 29th career playoff game scoring 25+ points as a Knick — tying Walt Frazier for 2nd-most in franchise history.

Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks, providing key scoring in the second half as New York pulled away late to secure the win.
