Brian Windhorst has a message about the coach’s challenge: It’s not going anywhere | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols, David Fizdale and Brian Windhorst react to a successful coach’s challenge from San Antonio Spurs vs. Miami Heat, in which Becky Hammon convinced Gregg Popovich to throw the proverbial flag, much to the ire of Erik Spoelstra. They then discuss the future of the challenge in the NBA, with Windhorst warning coaches and fans that it’s not going anywhere.

The NBA needs to change this rule so if your successful you should get another challenge, maybe make it 3 max per game

i would say if successful then you get your timeout back or you get another challenge (2 max per game) but lose a timeout

Have a button and red light at the end of the table nearest the benches and the coach would have to hit the button just like they do on Family Feud, slap that button and maybe have it make a buzzing sound when the light goes on

It’s a good thing, it forces the ref to make the correct call …most of the time. More plays should be reviewed on the spot.
I’m so sick of the ref’s making obvious bad calls, and then making a bad call on the other team after as some sort of IOU.

does anyone else feel the nba is almost unwatchable these days?? there’s a whistle every possession. its more about the refs than the players nowadays. players are playing the refs, not the game. its horrible.

There should be at least 2 coaching challenges for coaches. 1 for the 1st half and another for the 2nd half.

Here’s a quick solution that will make the coaches challenge way better… if they win the challenge, they should NOT lose their timeout

Rachel shut up! Red flags? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Please ESPN fire her she is destroying the basketball, how? Because she have some players that are her interest and others who aren’t because they are not giving her exclusive interview/content. She is obviously done that so many times when she trashes the players who aren’t so open to her.
