Most title teams have 2 max contract superstars and a 3rd guy who is all star level but usually making half a max contract salary which allows to fill out role players with quality players = title team

You can definitely have a big three but the skills have to complement each other and not be redundant. Also, at least one of the big three will have to take a small pay cut
