This year is like Giannis watching other players drop 50 points and its like, i guess i will have to do it too…Like he levels up his numbers whenever he feels it…Which means that he has leveled up insanely this year…Its like having a regular season and a playoff season mode that he can switch….
His early years was like playoff mode every game in regular season….Thats why ppl and media kinda disrespected him more or less…Because they understood he was giving it all while other stars and superstars were waiting for playoffs…
This season something is different… He seems to be different…Like having this switch, between playoffs mode and regular season mode…He is more sophisticated i feel…Like he has no presure to get out and put 30 points every night…Like he trust so much his team that the other day had 6 or 7 points in a winning game…He didn’t care, he was ok with giving assists and do other stuff for his team, not to say he porpuselly did that…To score less points and try to help his team from an organizer/ playmaker role in set up gaming senarios…Like he was trying to learn the point guard position of a FIBA rules player….Its like this year he can experiment with things on court to level up…Like he is using games as training camp…

If Jokic gets 3rd straight MVP instead of this man, it will be the robbery of the century. Yes Jokic has (currently) better advanced stats than Giannis….but in raw stats he is worse at almost everything than Giannis…plus sometimes in your lifetime you just have to trust your eyes. Giannis is like MJ, Kobe or Lebron (in previous years) in that regard, when you watch him play, you just KNOW you are watching the best basketball player alive. No one comes even close to him right now.

His shooting is really beginning to take shape. It’s been consistent and smooth throughout the year(of course, not his 3s, lol, but even that has massively improved)
