Published

on

raptors was expecting it. they knew when they sign kawhi, it could happen. they got a title out of the trade. so worth it.

Credit to raptors, doc ain’t gonna be happy if kawhi leaving after a year. Raptors trust in them, even without kawhi they setup great system where even undrafted player are better than number 1 picks

Aye tell the raptors you loose em the way you get them. If you stole someone from someone else, dont ever be surprised if the person who you stole plays you for the next option. Class dismissed.

Nah. If he decided earlier or told them they weren’t in the running they could’ve gotten a good SF. The same with my Lakers. He waited out the ENTIRE deadline. That stopped the Raptors from being a top three situation

Shouldn’t be any issues… Toronto knew from the start they were most likely losing him to LA after the season since they traded for him, that championship made it look like they had more of a chance to keep him at the end tho.

typical media trying to make a story out of nothing. Yes, the Raptors are fine, they didn’t blink when he AND Danny Green left.

It wasn’t only kawhi that did it the whole team did it. It was a teams effort, raptors helped him, and he helped the raptors!

Making a question that you already the answer. “NO!”
Raptors can do good without kawhi now, they have the experienced being a champion. They knew already how to do it again. Thanks to kawhi and danny.

Leonard got traded here because of the situation in San Antonio so when he left I wasn’t surprised but must he won a ring wish he would have stayed to try to repeat

The answer is YES. Kawhi wasn’t the reason Toronto won the chip last year. The reason was the word “team”. they were a team before everything else. They as a team stopped Giannis and the Bucks and as a team they beat the warriors even though they were half. Everybody immortalized Kawhi and crowned him best player in the world while the whole job was done by Lowry,Van fleet ,Ibaka ,Gasol,Siakam and Kawhi. They also have a great coach who made adjustments while Budelhozer didn’t. Toronto is a team before everything else ( from a Bucks fan)
