Cade Cunningham, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of Oklahoma State University, recorded his 1st career triple-double as he tallied 13 PTS, along with a career-high 12 REB and 10 AST for the Detroit Pistons as they fell to the Los Angeles Lakers, 121-116, in Detroit. Anthony Davis (30 PTS, 10 REB, 6 AST, 4 STL, 5 BLK) and Russell Westbrook (26 PTS, 9 REB, 10 AST) added a combined for 56 PTS for the Lakers in the victory. The Lakers improve to 9-9 on the season, while the Pistons fall to 4-12.
