celtics lack that real og captain. I’m talkin a KG type. Pierce had the attitude to match, but KG was their war chief, absolutely.
We miss a lot with SMART being out–what’s the story there, sports fans? He has some of that old school competitiveness.
These CELTS could be reallllly good. They’re just soft. Sorry, I said it.
Get what SMART has in a long BIG MAN to patrol the paint, and Celts are in the Finals–which in case you forget, they were one game away from going to in a series vs Lebron James and CLE–in a year when CLE won it all in the epic come back vs GoldenState…
That was with Tatum and Kyrie out, by the way.
Thing we could’ve gotten a tasty BIG MAN for Kyrie and Tatum?
That trade ended up being a complete BUST for Boston: Tatum breaks his leg, and Kyrie became somewhat of a team killer, in addition to getting injured too. 26 or whatever age is not old enough to be a leader of grown men unless you’re SPECIAL. Kyrie still young. On this team? Smart is the emotional leader. Guys like him are priceless.
If TIMELORD Williams could switch on that Smart Power, he could be the one…He’s BIG. He’s still soft too tho. GET IT BIG FELLA!!!
Brown is an amazing piece. MJ athleticism. He goes with the tide. He’s a bit of a microwave–crazy talented. A ballerina with his footwork and body control.
Tatum is great, but soft too. He has been made “the guy” but he’s not the guy. Him and Brown make a nice pair of wings, but only when they work together. Brown still has that microwave–he’s neutral. Because Tatum is getting that “you’re number 1” treatment, he’s losing something. It’s too much too fast. Again, we NEED another veteran leader on this team. Give me another vet Like Thompson.
What’s up with Kevin Love?
I like some of these bench players. We have a really good young crop of benchers and role players. I like Pritchards, Yung Duck.

If the Celtic’s don’t get into the Playoffs Brad needa get fired, noticed how they fired Mike Woods on who got the Knicks a franchise best 54 wins & the 2nd round of the Playoffs they were built to beat the Heat as shown in the 2013 season but not built to take on a inside out team which is why the Pacers were they’re undoin whenever Tyson scored under 10 points & Hibbert couldn’t be contained the Pacers won & went on to win that series 4-2, Doc got fired after the Clippers CHOKED up 3-1, he wasn’t out there playin, the PLAYERS were, so if the Celtic’s don’t get in or do get it but get a first round exist after goin to the conference finals last season, Brad needa be fired but I doubt they will though…

Celtics just playing bad on Defense. Carson Edwards did a horrible job on screens. Brown and Tatum also were bad on defense because they don’t trust their teammates to rotate properly. The rotation to 3 point shooters need to be better they have to pass better. It’s kind of a disaster right now. We need Marcus back, maybe he’ll help?
