Led by Jamal Murray’s 37 points (23 in the 4th quarter), 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2, 108-103. Nikola Jokic added 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists for the Nuggets in the victory, his 4th consecutive Triple-Double and his 7th of the Playoffs, while LeBron James tallied 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists for the Lakers. The Nuggets lead this best-of-seven series, 2-0, with Game 3 taking place on Saturday, May 20 (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

Nikola Jokic has now recorded his 7th triple-double of the 2023 Playoffs, tying Wilt Chamberlain (1967) for most Triple-Doubles in a single postseason.

Bruce Brown is my 6th man of the year. No one talks about him outside of Denver, but his game is incredible. True hooper, and his energy is through the roof. He’s one of many dawgs on this team and if there’s anyway Denver can retain him, we’ll be a problem for many years to come.

I must say I never hated LBJ this much, this dude just keeps making mindblowingly stupid mistakes, and shooting 3s knowing he’ll miss nearly all of them. The most amazing thing is he has no shame for his turnovers, well keeping reaching for whatever record numbers bron, cause you ain’t never gonna get that 5th ring, and you ain’t never be greater than MJ or Kobe… JUST RETIRE

Wendell Carter Jr. contributed a team-high 28 points to go with 6 rebounds 3 assists and 2 three pointers, with Desmond Bane of the Magic adding an additional 27 points (8-13 FG, 3-5 3P) and 5 assists in the game. Cooper Flagg finished with a team-high 51 points along with 6 rebounds for the Mavericks in the losing effort.
