Led by Jimmy Butler’s 25 points and 11 rebounds, the No. 8 seed Miami Heat defeat the No. 5 seed New York Knicks in Game 1, 108-101. Gabe Vincent (20 points, 5 assists, 5 3pt. FG) and Kyle Lowry (18 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocks) added a combined 38 points in the victory. RJ Barrett (26 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists) and Jalen Brunson (25 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists) combined for 51 points for the Knicks in the losing effort. The Heat lead the best-of-seven series, 1-0, with Game 2 taking place on Tuesday, May 2 (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT)

That was a slide tackle not a trip, should have been called a flagrant foul and banned for the rest of the series. I’ve never seen anyone’s legs fall in the path of the player that’s in front of them. The NBA should definitely revise the rules here and it will have less injured players.
