The Timberwolves defeated the Lakers, 103-96 tonight in Los Angeles. Rudy Gobert led the Timberwolves with 27 points and 24 rebounds for the Timberwolves, while Julius Randle contributed 23 points and 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Gobert is the first player to total 25+ points and 20+ rebounds on 80+ FG% in a playoff game since 1996. Luka Dončić finished with a team-high 28 points along with 9 assists 7 rebounds and 2 three pointers for the Lakers in the losing effort. The Timberwolves win the series 4-1.

    As a Lakers fan, I was pretty bummed out when they lost the series and were eliminated from the playoffs.

    But at least I have the 2020 Championship Ring, that will always be my favorite memory of the Lakers. 💜💛

    Lakers defense was getting absolutely cooked, if they can’t read the switches correctly they should just stick to man to man no matter what. Too many easy buckets just given to the timberwolves, it gave them good momentum.
