Age don’t matter you got rookies that come from overseas that’s older then him that play in the league so he should have a opportunity to play in the league to

You’re right that age doesn’t matter but he’s no longer draft eligible. It’s not like he’s not allowed to get a contract; he’s just not good enough to get one. Short guys do make it in the league but they need to be great at other things like defense and passing. Carr’s best strength is his scoring ability but he’s a bad scorer at higher levels.
At the end of the day, he’s still a pro and makes a living off of basketball but the NBA is just another level. He had some runs in the D-League and he could play but he wasn’t a great D-League player. Usually, the guys that make it from the D-League/G-League to the NBA dominate the D-League and become role players (obviously not including first round picks with an NBA contract that get sent down there to get some playing time).
