As impressed as I was of the 76ers near comeback (or Hawks near collapse), I’m even more impressed by how they managed to fall behind by 20.

What the fuck were the refs doing in those final minutes? Does it not count as a foul unless somebody gets shanked? Hawks straight up mugged and no calls.

NBA wants a big team in the conference final, but they don’t even realize that Philly ain’t that big. Hawks showing out and shutting them tf up.

Not a fan of either team but if you’re philly, you gotta be confident looking ahead to game 2. They just gotta come out with that same kind of intensity from the start. Atlanta stacked with talent. They’re basically following the GSW blueprint.

Hawks are commendable for winning this, but looking at it more closely Philly can eat them in the next games by smoldering defense. Next game will absolutely be Phillies.

The refs willed Philly back into that game. Hawks players getting mugged – no call. 6er touched, or NOT, whistle blaring. Still lost.

Philly suuuucks… they need to pick up a real #1 scoring option in free agency this year. Ben Simmons is useless and Embid won’t reach his potential without a high end PG.
