Led by James Harden’s 42 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, including the go-ahead three with 19.0 seconds remaining in overtime, the No. 3 seed Philadelphia 76ers defeated the No. 2 seed Boston Celtics in Game 4, 116-115. Joel Embiid added 34 points and 13 rebounds for the 76ers in the victory, while Jayson Tatum tallied 24 points, 6 assists, 4 blocks and a career-high 18 rebounds for the Celtics. This best-of-seven series is now tied, 2-2, with Game 5 taking place on Tuesday, May 9 (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT).

James Harden joins Allen Iverson (3x) as the only players in 76ers franchise history to score 40+ points in multiple games of a Playoff series.

Before James Harden, Kevin Durant in the 2012 semifinals for OKC vs Lakers was the last player to have two different go ahead game-winning shots with under 20 seconds remaining in a single playoff series:
Durant made game-winning field goals in Game 2 (18.6 secs left) and Game 4 (13.7 secs left)

With his 47th career 30+ point Playoff game tonight, James Harden has passed Dirk Nowitzki for the 12th most such games in NBA history.

I had to slow down the playback speed on that Smart 3 pointer in OT, it seems it was released in time watching in faster speed but when you slow it down all the way, you see it still is in his hands when the red light goes off.

Boys & girls, we just witnessed the NBA ratings trickery at work: wave off the final basket, extend every playoff game as long as possible

If Harden plays like this, the odds are much much better for Philly… Or else Game over in 6..

Tatum just had to attack the rim. It’s on him.

That delay getting that play moving at the top did the Celtics in. Maybe should have called a timeout there.

If only Harden had shown up for the other Two games, Sixers would be up 3-1

Tatum should’ve laid the ball up. He blew by his defender, got a step on him at least, but he chose to kick out…

Why… WHY is JB double teaming Embiid down low and leaving a red-hot Harden on the near corner. These guys are PROS, even I know you don’t do that. At best Embiid can only tie the game there. Hello?!

Boston is too wrong to let the clock run out. What were they thinking? The score wasn’t tied lol

Harden’s critics of game 2 and 3 are silenced here. All the points. Tying basket to go to OT. Winning the game in O.T. Assists. Flashy passing. He gotta stay playing like this. Harris needs to step up. Harden, Embiid, Maxey, and the 6th men/ role players won the game.

I love Joe and the C’s but my god, all they needed to do was get set quicker on the last play. Inbounding the ball with 18 seconds left and not getting a shot off is unacceptable. We’ll make adjustments though 💪🏻 ☘️

This One’s Definitely On Mazzulla. No Excuses. You call time out here!
And you set up a play preferably a
Drive to the basket! Your only down one point. A way outside shot is not what you want!
