Once he plays against actual NBA talent for a full season with no injuries then I’ll give my honest opinion.

ALL this speculation of a player who’s competition isn’t as good as what he’ll be playing. The guys he’s playing against probably couldn’t make an NBA roster themselves, but I’m supposed to believe he’ll just dominate cuz of his size? I truly hope he beats expectations but I’m going into this season with low ones just to really appreciate what he may be able to do with no bias.

The tendon strength in his legs is just inhuman. He may in fact be very durable if he paces himself and doesn’t put too much weight on all at once.

What impresses me most is that he clearly refuses to put himself in a box. Wemby can make any shot because he’ll try any shot, which is the sort of confidence and creativity you would want out of a 19-year-old with all the talent in the world. If he went through the AAU, it’s easy to imagine those coaches would’ve pressured him to stick to post-ups, rebounding, and shot-blocking instead of figuring out just how many skills he has.

Right! SA better not have him on the perimeter showboating with those slow ass dribble moves LMAO #CLAMPCITY

  44. RELATABLE PAIN

    June 19, 2023 at 11:52 pm

Championships or BUST! He can’t have an average NBA career BY ANY MEANS! The bar has already been set… And SA has to AT LEAST make the play In tourney his rookie season! Can’t wait to see how this plays out…
