The On-Court Contribution (OCC) says how many points your team gains for every 40 minutes you are on the court. Across the 6 USA World Cup games, #1 on the US team was Caitlin Clark (+42 for every 40 minutes on court). #2 was Aliyah Boston (+41), then Howard (+34), then Paige (+32), then Angel (+25), then the veteran five (+22 –> 16)…

A lot of dummies don’t understand that CC wasn’t being “frozen out”. That’s just the way Team USA is set up; the veterans who have been loyal to the program for years get rewarded and the newbies have to earn their stripes. This is because they want the same players to come back year after year due to the European teams having played together for upwards of a _decade_ by the time they meet TEAM USA. You can’t expect to have people coming in and out of the TEAM USA program and still be competitive with squads that have been playing together for YEARS. That’s why CC, AR, & PB played limited minutes; they have to PROVE they’re going to be loyal before they get to play starter minutes.
Fun fact: Diana Taurasi, widely considered the GOAT of the women’s game, came off the bench during every single game of her first Olympics and averaged only 13 mpg.

Horrible commentary!!! When you have a player playing 29 or 30 minutes in a game, you definitely have a preference. Naturally, that player has a great chance of being the MVP! They rack up more points, assists, or rebounds. Can you imagine if Caitlin or Reese played at least 29 minutes in every game?

My first time watching Women’s FIBA BBall this year. Enjoyed Puerto Rico. Coaching was BETTER. I started watching because of the New Young Players – CC, Reese, Bueckers, Boston, Citron. I didn’t watch today’s game because of Coaching.
I began watching WNBA because of CC. It’s PAINFUL to watch WNBA, they are not that good. But I’ve enjoyed the younger players. And since last year I became a Big Fan of Brianna Stewart. She is INDEED a Wonderful Player.
As a Guard I would feed her All Day. It was nice to see CC to Reese Combinations. Hope to see this young group in the Future. They Played Well Together and especially with Brianna. Brianna looked like she was one of their TEAMMATES for Years. That’s because of Brianna’s style of play – ALL ROUND.
Even in Puerto Rico Brianna SHINED & CC Looked for her because Brianna knew she would get the ball from CC.
I saw today’s Replay Highlights. Amazing they put CC in COLD & she hits a last second 3 pointer to pull the USA within 2 points. CC Starts the 3rd quarter & USA Pulls Away.
I don’t think this is a COINCIDENCE. 13 points in 12 minutes by CC was SIGNIFICANT plus 1 STEAL & Assists during that time. CC should not ride the Pine.
