Dude is 265 pounds of muscle. He’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen in the NBA. He gone be special if healthy and I hate to say that shit cause I want to see this dude play throughout years and watch his progression. I hope he can sustain an entire season.

MJ did it aswell as a Rookie at his age of 21! 20+ in 23 straight games then he had only one game with 16 points and straight after that he had 12 games in a row again with 20+ then he had another 16 point game only and then again 16 games in a row with 20+ games as a ROOKIE
Wilt Chamberlain did it aswell as a rookie at his age of 23 he had 56 straight games with 20+ games
Allen Iverson did it aswell as a rookie at his age of 21 he had 11 straight games with 20+games
Kareem did it aswell as a rookie at his age of 22 he had 24 straight games with 20+games and another 12 straight games
and the list goes on
This hype is only about the ” before the age of 20″ stuff i am not saying it is not a big achievement just i dont want people to translate it like there were no other rookies who did that because there were many and the only difference is the age!

no, under 20 years old! zion is only one to do it! zion is 19 years old. only 4 rookies has done it 10 straight games. the last was carmelo anthony! now zion is only rookie under 20 year that scored +20 in 11 games straight! there you go.

so all those you mentioned are 21 or above. there’s a reason why they measure under 20! in sport there are national teams that under 16, under 18 and under 20! there’s a reason for that! there are more categories but anyway age matters under certain age.

Age matters if we are talking about 14 vs 16, 16 vs 18 because in those ages your body developes so much only by just one year aswell. But 19 vs 21 i dont think it is a big difference! And i am not saying it is not a big deal but some people here already written this : “No rookie has ever scored 20+ in 10 straight games” and this is not true they started to leave “the before age of 20” from the context! thats why i tried to tidy their minds that the “big deal” is about his age not only about the “rookie” part

mainly because of marketing pupose. Do you think all the highlights made by ESPN, NBA.com etc. because of they want to gift only current fans? This is a business like everthing else an all time growing business they want to attract more and more people into it and all of this stuff aims the new generations aswell. And what has the most influence for people? breaking Records!

Zion has a unique combination of power, quickness, efficiency, he can shoot from 3pt (maybe just a few times, but he can), he is a smart player on the court and a humble kid. I can imagine when he’s a 100% healthy and if he loose some weight gradually, specially in summers that means more seasons in the NBA!
