Wow man…..I remember in high school in Detroit in the early 90s the Fab Five was it. Looking at the panel with Jamal Mashburn brings back memories from watching Jalen and C-Webb battle Jamal and Kentucky in the tournament in the elite 8. The NCAA tournament in the 90’s was must see TV.

I watched Southwestern play at Calihan Hall in Operation Friendship with 3 NBA players. They basically scored at will on a pretty good team.
That Kentucky team was supposed to go the Final Four. I re them beating every team they faced by 30 or 40. They ran up at Michigan and lost.

@ggray1213 You sir, need to calm down and get some reading comprehension. Doug said that they were not legends. I’m clearly calling him out on that fact. Because they absolutely are legends. Don’t talk nonsense to me about the Fab Five. I met C-Webb when he was coming out of Detroit Country Day and got his autograph. My dad played golf with Steve Fisher and I went to nearly every Michigan home game at Crisler during the time of the Fab 5. I sagged my shorts and wore black athletic socks because of their cultural impact. So, yeah … I do know basketball. Read everything first before you attempt to do whatever it is you think you were doing here.
