He runs the court pretty well for such a big fella. Looks much less labored than Jokic.

You can tell he’ll still have quite a bit of learning to do to stay in the game. Otherwise, he won’t be a factor sooner rather than later

1:15-1:29 was my favorite of all those clips. The footwork the IQ to look off the defenders with the fake passes and the decide finish. He’s got sky high potential

  13. @ThatinParticular

    October 18, 2025 at 8:41 pm

Really needs to get better at rebounding because it will open up so much for our pace when he does

    October 18, 2025 at 10:11 pm

The playing style is a good fit for modern basketball, especially for center. If one can set a high screen, know exactly how to pass, and can play one on one at low post. He definitely can stay in NBA for a long time.

  20. @LifeofWalk

    October 18, 2025 at 10:28 pm

Look at the size of his head! You can’t even tell these new giants from normal people anymore because they are proportioned like a normal human unlike just tall humans that usually have small average heads like Manute Bol.

As a Chinese, thank you NBA for posting a video about Hansen. Hansen’s really a great player and we know he still has a lot to improve such as rebound, strength and control of fouls, but this young man has talent, please give him patience and time.

He looks slow and plodding. That’s the problem with most Asian basketball players. Lack of athleticism. Jeremy Lin was special, very quick, but still a liability on defense. Then Lin got injuries and his athleticism was gone.
