When kobe got hurt. Use context my guy. After achilles tear, kobe played 6 games, then 35, then 54….. 8-9 years because 10 years ago it was 2012 and they were in the playoffs with bad role players and got eliminated 4-1 vs okc, who got to the finals, with kobe dropping 30-40 so yeah man use some context

That first season, there were games at home that had the fans chanting “We want Kobe!!!” When he was shooting free-throw. It’s not a Laker’s fan thing it was us Kobe fans.

Exactly, espn analysts are wrong man in so many ways. Lebron was stinking that first season without AD and we all wanted kobe. Kobe accwpted him and said lakers fans need to accept him. Things changed. Thats why kobe’s the goat, he literally had influence over all LA and freaking china hahahaha

The Lakers were trash ???? Kobe last few years and they were very trash before LeBron came and then AD. Lakers were trash for years. He had y’all 4th in the west with young players and beat GSW before he got hurt that year.

As a Laker fan, we did not accept LeBron coming to LA, after Kobe’s blessing, then people began embracing him. Remember, they were defacing murals of LeBron in LA. He’s still not embraced or loved like Kobe Bean Bryant!

Is he looking to be? I don’t understand why laker fans think lebron is somehow trying to fill in for Kobe now. He came to a franchise that had struggled for 8 years but had young talent and asset. It just so happened to be the lakers, he doesn’t seem like he wants to become the “greatest laker ever” just another great you came and helped add a banner and mission was accomplished in year 2

@Prophet_96 I’m just responding to this debate Keyshawn & Perk was having. But I’m sure LeBron thought he’d be embraced more than he was when he first touched down in LA. We appreciate the bubble chip lol. Other than that, his time with the Lakers has been a failure.

As a Laker fan my only expectation is to make the playoffs every year. Unless we have hall of fame players on the squad then it’s all about building a championship caliber team.
That’s the modo Dr Buss had team only missed the playoffs once every decade then the kids f’d it all up. Now it just looks like a so so franchise.

I’ve been a die hard Lakers fan for 20 years, Lebron was always the enemy we hated him so yes at the beginning we didn’t want him but he’s a great player and I’m happy that he’s on my team even If he leaves I’m grateful for the chip he got us.

People use Kobe name for everything. Bron was going based off his family wanted to be in LA. Better education,bigger opportunities and when you got that bread. It’s the best place to live. Magic was at his house as soon as free agency started. I hope Bron leaves. Lakers need to be back in the Knicks category.
